The Watch: Credor is Seiko's answer to Swiss haute horlogerie. Introduced in 1974 as "Crêt D'Or" (Golden Crest), the line produces tiny volumes of high-end watches that compete with Patek and Vacheron for sale solely in Japan.

This GBBG999 houses the 4S77 movement, one of Seiko's most complicated automatics from the late 1990s to mid-2000s. Housed in a platinum case, with a silver guilloche dial. Retrograde day display, pointer date, 24-hour subdial for home time.

The 4S77 beats at 28,800 vph, hacks, hand-winds, 50-hour power reserve. Finished to Credor standards with gold plating, visible through the sapphire caseback. This was before Spring Drive, when Seiko was still proving they could finish mechanical movements at the highest level.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Includes: Full set from 2000: box, papers, and accessories.
