The Watch: The Roger Dubuis Sympathie S37 570 is a standout example of early Roger Dubuis design, from an era when the independent Geneva atelier was still producing watches in very limited quantities with Geneva Seal finishing. This reference features a 37mm white gold case with the Sympathie’s signature geometry softened by a round sapphire crystal—an update introduced to improve serviceability while maintaining the model’s sculptural presence. This example is from 2001, coinciding with the building of Dubuis' Geneva factory.
The copper guilloché dial adds warmth and texture, with applied Roman numerals and blued feuille hands creating a balanced, elegant display. At the back, the exhibition caseback reveals the hand-finished movement, hallmarked with the Geneva Seal and showcasing Dubuis’s characteristic level of detail.
This piece originally shipped with a solid white gold caseback, which was replaced during an official service; the original solid back is included.
Condition: Very good overall condition with only light signs of wear. The aftermarket strap is fitted with the original white gold Roger Dubuis buckle (the original strap could not be imported due to leather restrictions).
Includes: Full set: outer and inner box, papers, solid caseback, and accessories (aftermarket strap).
