The Watch: The Cartier Pasha Chronograph (W3019951) blends bold design with technical refinement. Originally introduced in the 1980s, the Pasha was inspired by a 1930s commission for the Pasha of Marrakech, who requested a water-resistant watch suitable for formal settings. The modern Pasha was reinterpreted by Gérald Genta, whose design introduced the oversized case, canteen-style crown, and geometric detailing.
The silver dial features Art Deco Arabic numerals, blue sword-shaped hands, and three subdials—30-minute, 12-hour, and small seconds counters. A date aperture sits at 4:30, and the exhibition caseback reveals the automatic chronograph movement, a Cartier 8100MC.
With a unidirectional bezel and 100m water resistance, the Pasha balances elegance and functionality. The rose gold case adds warmth, while the exhibition caseback highlights the craftsmanship within.
