2011 Vacheron Constantin Asymmetric 1972, ref 37010, full kit
The Watch: Created in late 90s and 00s, the 70s spirit of experimental design is clearly represented in the unusual, trapezoidal shape of this Vacheron Constantin Asymmetric. In this 2011 example, the dial is a subtle silver with contrasting black appliqué numerals in an art-deco font. The stylized numerals are angled against the case, creating a slightly offset impression which further adds to the asymmetry found within the case.
Turning the watch over reveals the hallmark of the brand and the following engraving: “MCMLXXII” (in the same wonky text as the indices) commemorating the occasion of Vacheron receiving the Prestige de la France award in 1972.
The 26x36mm watch is on its original strap and buckle, and comes full kit with papers and box.
Includes: Watch, box, original papers.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. One small mark on the crystal in the upper right between the N and the T in CONSTANTIN. See photos.
