The Watch: The Fastrider launched Tudor's partnership with Ducati and established the brand's motorsport credentials before the Black Bay took over the conversation. The 42000D was the opening statement: a chronograph built around racing aesthetics without pretending to be anything else.
The 42mm steel case frames a red dial that reads unmistakably Ducati, with black chronograph registers and a racing stripe running vertically along the right side. The tachymeter bezel is calibrated to 400 units, and the date sits between 4 and 5 o'clock rather than interrupting the dial symmetry at 3. Inside, the ETA 7753 delivers 44 hours of power reserve and runs at 28,800 vph.
Tudor discontinued the Ducati partnership after a few years, making the Fastrider an increasingly uncommon find. This 2013 example comes as a full set, including extra fabric strap.
Condition: Excellent.
