The Watch: The 49150 is the previous-generation Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph, produced from 2007 to 2016 when it was replaced by the 5500V. Among the integrated-bracelet sport chronographs from the major Geneva houses, the 49150 occupies a quieter position than its Royal Oak Offshore or Nautilus Chronograph contemporaries, with proportions and finishing that reward extended attention rather than first-glance recognition.
Reference 49150/000R-9454 is the 42mm chronograph in 18k rose gold with the silver/white textured dial. The hobnail pattern catches light across its facets, giving the dial visual depth that flat-finished dials don't achieve. Applied luminous steel dart hour markers and luminous steel baton hands provide high legibility. The chronograph layout uses a central seconds counter, 30-minute counter at 3, and 12-hour counter at 6. Small seconds register at 6 o'clock is integrated into the layout. Screw-down round chronograph pushers and a screw-down crown contribute to 150 meters of water resistance.
Inside is the caliber 1137, an automatic chronograph movement running at 21,600 vph with column wheel and Geneva Seal certification, governing both finishing and timekeeping performance. The Maltese cross-shaped 22k gold rotor is visible through the sapphire caseback.
This 2013 example comes on the rubber strap with rose gold deployant buckle. Excellent condition with card.
