The 116660 Deepsea is Rolex at its most technical—engineered for commercial saturation diving, even if most examples stay dry. The stainless steel case measures 44mm across, over 17mm thick, and is built around Rolex’s patented Ringlock System, designed to withstand pressures at 3,900 meters (12,800 feet).
This version features the classic black dial—clean, symmetrical, and free of the “James Cameron” gradient—framed by a Cerachrom ceramic bezel with platinum-coated numerals. Inside is the Caliber 3135, Rolex’s long-running workhorse movement with a 48-hour power reserve and Parachrom hairspring.
The Oyster bracelet includes both Glidelock and Fliplock extensions, allowing for easy micro-adjustments and quick fitting over a wetsuit—or a jacket sleeve.
