The Watch: The Hamilton Jazzmaster Face 2 Face II Auto Chrono, reference H32866781, borrows from two very different references. The oval steel case and rotating body-in-frame construction recalls both the Audemars Piguet Millenary, and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. Production was capped at 1,999 pieces. The case measures 53mm by 44mm and stands 17.4mm thick, with sapphire over both sides.
One face holds the time and chronograph, with sword hands over three registers and a day and date display at 3 o’clock. Rotate the case and the second face carries pulsometer, tachymeter, and telemeter scales. The chronograph seconds hand passes through the movement to animate both sides, running counterclockwise on the reverse.
Driving all of it is the automatic Calibre H-41, built on a Valjoux 7750 base and extended to 60 hours of power reserve. Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers. Water resistance is 50 meters, and lug width is 24mm.
