The Watch: Chronoswiss built their reputation on regulators. Founded by Gerd R. Lang in 1983, the brand made regulators and fine, Breguet-style dials and movements their signature when everyone else was making traditional three-hand sports watches.
The regulator layout comes from precision timekeeping. Master clocks had the minute hand in the center (most important for setting other clocks), with hours and seconds on separate subdials. On a wristwatch it's an aesthetic choice that conjures classical watchmaking.
This is a Sirius Regulator Classic from 2017: 40mm steel case, blue galvanic dial with guilloché center. Hours at 12 o'clock, central minute hand, small seconds at 6.
