The Watch: The Sang Bleu All Black is Hublot’s most abstract collaboration to date—designed with Swiss tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Büchi, it reimagines the watch not just as an instrument of time, but as an evolving geometric sculpture. The 45mm case is made entirely from matte black ceramic, with a faceted hexagonal bezel that echoes the angular layering of the dial beneath.
Instead of traditional hands, time is indicated via three skeletonized, rotating discs that align like a mechanical mandala. Each one represents hours, minutes, and seconds, turning in harmony over a skeletonized baseplate. It’s powered by the HUB1213, a manual-wind movement with a 5-day power reserve—visible through the sapphire caseback, itself decorated with Büchi’s signature geometry.
Fitted on a black rubber and calf leather strap with a PVD titanium clasp, the All Black Sang Bleu is as much sculpture as watch. Visually intense but mechanically refined.
