The Watch: The Drive de Cartier was released in 2016 and the brand claimed it to be an interpretation of vintage automotive design. That may be true for the stouter stainless steel automatic models, but this yellow gold Drive is too delicate and too fluid to conjure mid-century automobiles. More art nouveau than muscle car. The watch features all of Cartier's signatures: Roman numerals, blued sword hands, small signature, and the cabochon crown. Powered by the Cartier Caliber 430 MC, a hand-wound movement based on the Piaget 430P. Fitted with a Cartier alligator leather strap and yellow gold buckle. 39mm.
Condition: Excellent condition with light wear consistent with careful use over six years. The case maintains its factory finishing, crystal is pristine, and the dial remains flawless. Movement is functioning well.
