The Watch: Originally designed in 1975, just three years after the Royal Oak, the Laureato helped establish the blueprint for luxury watches that combine sport and sophistication.
This 2019 example, reference 81010-11-431-11A, features a blue Clous de Paris dial housed in a 42mm stainless steel case. The octagonal bezel atop a circular plinth pays tribute to the model’s early design cues.
Powering the watch is the GP01800-0008 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire caseback. It beats at 28,800 vph, offers a 54-hour power reserve, and features fine finishing consistent with GP’s reputation as a true manufacture.
Water-resistant to 100 meters and only 10.88mm thick, the Laureato is both versatile and comfortable.
