Even with its illustrious history notwithstanding, the Santos de Cartier is an outstanding piece. The stainless steel timepiece cuts a striking figure with its silvered opaline dial, blued sword hands, vertically brushed case complemented by its polished bezel and chamfered edges. The watch is a classic fit, measuring 35mm. It is powered by the Cartier caliber 1847 MC, an automatic movement with 42 hours of autonomy 23 jewels, and a frequency of 28,800 vph - rock solid. Over a century since its introduction, the Santos feels relevant, sophisticated, and above all else, timeless.
