The Watch: The collection is named for reference 6073, which Vacheron released in 1956 as its first automatic with a water-resistant screw-down back. The 6073 was not a grand complication or a limited run. It was the watch Vacheron built for people who wanted to wear a Vacheron, and the Fiftysix line, introduced in 2018, was drawn up with the same brief.

The Day-Date is a reference in this collection worth spending time on. While the entry-level self-winding model runs a ValFleurier-based caliber, the caliber 2475 SC/2 is Vacheron's own, 264 parts, 27 jewels, 28,800 vph, roughly 40 hours of reserve, and it is stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva, which is a legal certification of finishing and assembly rather than a marketing badge. The gold oscillating weight and the finished bridges are visible through the sapphire back.

The case is 40mm in stainless steel at 11.6mm thick, water resistant to 30 meters. The dial is a two-tone sector design in silver and light grey with applied polished markers and luminous fill. Day sits at 9 o'clock, date at 3, power reserve at 6, with a central seconds hand over the top of all of it.

This 2019 example comes as a full set in excellent condition.
