D. Dornblüth & Sohn was founded in 1999 by Dieter Dornblüth and his son Dirk. In 2002, the company released its first production model. Since then they've generally produced about 120-180 pieces per year.
This is a ref 99.0, an early iteration of their 99 calibre (currently on the 99.4), cased in 42mm of steel with a small seconds subdial and applied indices. This is the platonic ideal of a small-batch German watch.
