The Watch: The Ming 37.05 Moonphase, introduced in 2022, is a standout within Ming’s 37-series, blending their signature minimalist design language with one of the most poetic complications in watchmaking. The stainless steel case measures 38mm in diameter and 10.9mm thick, with short lugs and a sleek profile that ensures comfort across a range of wrists.
The focal point is the dial: a layered construction featuring a central guilloché sector, luminous sapphire ring, and a luminous moonphase disc at 6 o’clock. The moonphase display is executed with a frosted sapphire overlay, glowing subtly in low light for a dramatic, ethereal effect. Time is read via skeletonized hands filled with Super-LumiNova, keeping the aesthetic modern while maintaining excellent legibility.
Inside is the Sellita SW288-1 automatic movement, modified by Schwarz-Etienne for Ming to include a moonphase complication and a 40-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through a sapphire caseback, finished with Ming’s typical contemporary detailing.
Condition: Excellent condition with minimal wear. Dial and crystal are pristine, and the movement is running well.
Includes: Full kit: original box, papers, and accessories.
