The Watch: Even with its illustrious history notwithstanding, the Santos de Cartier is an outstanding piece, and this is one of the most striking versions. The ADLC-coated steel timepiece cuts a striking figure with its black dial, lumed hands and numerals, and equally blacked out case and strap. The coating is another level of industrial chic on top of the screw-down bezel, and it's almost impossible to scratch. The watch wears similar to a Datejust 36, measuring 35x42.
This mechanical watch is powered by the Cartier caliber 1847 MC, an automatic movement with 42 hours of autonomy 23 jewels, and a frequency of 28,800 vph - rock solid. If you want luxury that flies under the radar, this is the one.
