Having spent two decades building their direct-to-consumer brand slowly and methodically with enthusiasts since 2004, an influx of investor cash (GBP6.25m from BGF) in 2019 set the stage for The Bel Canto, CW's first major horological hit, putting a Sonnerie au Passage complication on a sub-5k watch. Their next major act was The Twelve, the brand's step into the integrated sports watch. Built to mimic and compete with the likes of the Overseas, Laureato, and Alpine Eagle amongst others, in true Christopher Ward fashion this model delivers a movement, case, and dial at their utilitarian finest for a price hovering around one tenth of what you'll pay elsewhere. And that's with two quick change rubber straps included.
