The Watch: Heinrich Moser founded his manufacture in 1828 and spent the next several decades building watches of such quality that the Russian Tsar became a client. The modern revival, beginning in 2005, has been an exercise in marrying minimalism, modernity, and high horology. H. Moser & Cie watches are generally known for their minimalist color wash dials and exquisite movement finishing. This one keeps the latter but trades the former for an icily quiet white dial with roman numerals.
This Venturer Small Seconds is a more subtle Moser than most. The 39mm white gold case presents the manufacture's white laquer dial and blued delta hands. The small seconds at six o'clock is the only complication. Moser's in-house caliber HMC 327 provides the power, a hand-wound movement with Moser's signature seal and stripes. Everything is housed beneath a gracefully curved sapphire crystal.
Condition: Excellent condition with some light marks on the case flanks.
