The Watch: The Ming 22.01 Kyoto GMT continues the brand’s tradition of elegant minimalism and experimental materials, combining their signature design language with true travel functionality. This limited edition model features a titanium case measuring 38mm across and 10.7mm thick, worn here on its original handmade strap with a signed buckle. The Kyoto variant is distinguished by its green dial, a multi-layer construction with gradient coloration that shifts depending on the light, echoing the depth of lacquered urushi or enamel.
The sapphire ring carries the 24-hour GMT markings, rendered in luminous print and used in conjunction with the independent 24-hour hand to track a second timezone. Like many of Ming's releases, this one was produced in extremely limited numbers and sold out immediately on release.
Inside is a Sellita SW330-2 movement, modified by Ming and adjusted in five positions, with a 56-hour power reserve and hacking GMT functionality. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal offer 100 meters of water resistance.
