The Watch: Patek Philippe introduced the 6007 in 2020 to commemorate the completion of their new manufacture building in Plan-les-Ouates. The reference marked a departure from typical Calatrava restraint: a carbon-textured motif on the dial inspired by the composite materials used in the building's construction, paired with a case shape that splits the difference between dress watch and something more contemporary.
The 6007G-001 houses the manufacture in a 40mm white gold case. This example is the yellow variant. The textured pattern catches light differently across its surface, giving the dial depth. The carbon cross-hatch pattern is mirrored on the strap, as are the yellow accents. Inside, Patek's caliber 324 S C handles timekeeping duties with the brand's typical over-engineering.
This 2024 example was originally purchased in Italy and comes with its Patek Philippe papers.
Condition: Excellent. A light scratch on the crown side lugs, visible in photos.
