The Watch: H. Moser introduced the Streamliner in 2020, entering a market segment dominated by watches designed decades earlier. The collection's cushion-shaped case and integrated bracelet felt contemporary rather than derivative, with flowing lines that earned comparisons to Art Deco transportation design. The original Centre Seconds in Matrix Green became difficult to acquire almost immediately.
Moser paused production to refine the design, returning in 2024 with the Mark 2 generation. The updates included a transparent lacquer logo that nearly disappears into the dial, the new HMC 201 caliber with improved architecture, anthracite plating, a skeletonized gold rotor, and this Purple Haze dial option. The fumé finish shifts from purple to blue depending on the angle, with the color deepening from center to edge in Moser's signature gradient style.
Reference 6201-1201 measures 40mm in a steel case water resistant to 120 meters. The mono-link bracelet resembles some sort of marine exoskeleton, integrates directly into the case and features brushed and polished surfaces throughout.
