The Watch: The Royal Oak gets the attention, but Jules Audemars is where Audemars Piguet released its classic dress watches until the Code 11.59 replaced the line in 2019. The 26100OR was a turning point for the line. Introduced in 2009, it was the first self-winding chronograph in the Jules Audemars collection, pairing the elegance of the series with genuine sporty utility. The 41mm rose gold case walks a careful line between presence and restraint, substantial enough to anchor a chronograph but finished with the brushed and polished surfaces that keep it appropriate under a cuff.
The white lacquered dial organizes the chronograph functions with classical logic: small seconds at three o'clock, 30-minute counter at nine, central chronograph hand, and a tachymeter scale ringing the outer edge. Black Arabic numerals and leaf-shaped hands, including a contrasting gold seconds hand complete the layout. Inside, AP's caliber 3124/3841 provides 60 hours of power reserve, with a solid gold rotor bearing the AP family crest visible through the caseback.
Condition: Very good. Some light marks throughout, including a scuff on the bezel near 6 o'clock.
Includes: Watch and box.
