The Watch: Even with its illustrious history notwithstanding, the Santos de Cartier is an outstanding piece, and this is a beautiful introduction to the line. The stainless steel timepiece cuts a striking figure with its deep blue dial, lumed hands, vertically brushed case complemented by its polished bezel and chamfered edges. The watch is similar to the Santos Galbée XL, measuring 35x42. It is powered by the Cartier caliber 1847 MC, an automatic movement with 42 hours of autonomy 23 jewels, and a frequency of 28,800. The Santos De Cartier is a worthy rival to watches such as the Rolex Datejust, with incredible industrial design. Over a century later, the Santos feels relevant, sophisticated, and above all else, timeless.
