The Watch:Launched in 2019, the Chopard Alpine Eagle is the modern follow-up to the legendary 1980 St. Moritz. This is a 41-millimeter version made from Lucent A223 stainless steel. The dial is a gorgeous textured blue, in what Chopard calls an eagle-eye pattern. From the caseback we can see the Caliber 0101C, a chronometer-certified automatic movement with a 60-hour power reserve and 31 jewels. Chopard is a true manufacturer, making its own movements.
