The Watch: This is very heavy. An Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph, reference 25960BA, entirely in 18k yellow gold. The 39mm case runs 11mm thick, the hexagonal crown and pushers add to the industrial blockiness of the case. The yellow gold execution makes this into something impossible to ignore.
The dial is Grande Tapisserie pattern with applied yellow gold markers and Royal Oak hands, both filled with luminescent coating. Three registers divide the dial. The 30-minute counter sits at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 6, and the 12-hour counter at 9. A date aperture sits at 4:30.
Movement is the self-winding Calibre 2385, 37 jewels running at 21,600 vph for 40 hours of power reserve, closed behind a solid gold caseback. Sapphire crystal, 50 meters.
Serial beginning F8 indicating a later 2000's production date.
Condition: Good condition with marks to the case and bracelet, running well.
Includes: Watch only. Sized to a 7.5 inch wrist.
