The Watch: The Glashütte Original Seventies Panorama Date explicitly calls back to the classic watch designs of the 1970's (Royal Oak, Nautilus, Ingenieur), this time in modern German watchmaking. Its distinctive 40mm x 40mm stainless steel case, with a brushed finish and polished edges, reflects the play with case shapes so common in the era.
The galvanic silver dial features applied hour markers, center seconds, and Glashütte’s signature Panorama Date at 6 o’clock. Rose gold hands and applied indices add warmth against the stark silver dial.
Powered by the caliber 39-47, an in-house automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve, the watch showcases traditional Glashütte finishing through the sapphire exhibition caseback, including the etched rotor and swan-neck regulator.
