The Watch: Heinrich Moser founded his manufacture in 1828 and spent the next several decades building watches of such quality that the Russian Tsar became a client. The modern revival, beginning in 2005, has been an exercise in marrying minimalism, modernity, and high horology. In a niche where ultra-fine guilloche finishing or ultra-modern, automotive-inspired movements are indicators of high value, it's daring to release watches that sometimes have nothing on the dial except a wash of color that fades at the edges.
The Endeavour Small Seconds distills Moser's philosophy to its essence. The 38mm rose gold case presents the manufacture's fumé dial, a gradient finish that fades out into black. The small seconds at six o'clock is the only complication, and the only one needed. Moser's in-house caliber HMC 327 provides the power, a hand-wound movement with Moser's signature seal and stripes.
Condition: Good condition with some character from wear. The strap minder shows fraying.
