The Watch: First released in 1968, The Polaris began life as a continuation of the Memovox Deep Sea Alarm line, first as the Memovox Polaris, a dive-and-alarm watch, and eventually broadening into a number of time, date, calendar, and alarm models. This is a current incarnation of the line in its most simple form: a black dial dive watch with compressor bezel on a steel bracelet.
41mm steel case, just 11.2mm thick. Black dial with two textures: inner circle flat, outer sector with applied Arabic indices and dart markers on a pebbled finish, which modern JLC excels at (see the Moon Tribute Duo). The internal rotating bezel is controlled by a secondary crown at 4 o'clock: theoretically cleaner than an external bezel, less prone to accidental movement, but mostly just more fun to turn back n forth.
Thick sword hands, heavy lume. Powered by JLC Calibre 898E/1 automatic with 40 hours of power reserve.
Condition: Excellent condition. See photos. Fits a wrist up to 7"
Includes: Box, papers, 2 extra JLC straps.
