The Watch: Released in the early 2000s, the Reverso Gran’Sport Chronograph is one of the more unconventional entries in the Reverso line, merging Jaeger-LeCoultre’s iconic reversible case with a sporty chronograph complication. Reference 295.8.59 features a 28mm x 43mm stainless steel case with a rotating mechanism that reveals a fully digital chronograph display on the reverse side.
The front dial showcases the time in a classic Reverso layout with Arabic numerals, sword hands, and center seconds. Flip the case, and the chronograph side reveals a dual dial readout with a 60 second dial and a retrograde 30 minute counter below that. A technical achievement for its time, the 859 remains one of the most mechanically complex movements ever housed in a Reverso.
Condition: Very light wear throughout. Case remains sharp with minor hairlines. Dial and movement are both clean and functioning properly.
