The Watch: Stefan Kudoke is one of the more interesting figures in modern independent watchmaking. After watchmaking school, he spent years at Glashütte Original's complications and prototypes department, followed by stints in the New York service departments of Breguet, Blancpain, and Omega. He launched his own brand and the result is a workshop in eastern Germany producing roughly 100 watches per year, hand-finished by Stefan himself.

The Kudoke 1 is part of the HANDwerk collection, the brand's traditional handmade pieces. The frosted blue dial is the visual centerpiece. The two-layer construction has applied chapter rings, with subtle Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, and a small seconds register at 9 o'clock that balances the crown and logo plate. The minute hand carries Kudoke's signature infinity symbol at its tip, which echoes the infinity engraving on the balance cock visible through the caseback.

The 39mm polished stainless steel case is 10.7mm thick, with a stepped bezel, onion crown engraved with a "K," and convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is 50 meters.

Inside is the Kaliber 1, Stefan Kudoke's proprietary manual-winding movement developed with Habring². It runs at 28,800 vph with 46 hours of power reserve, 18 jewels, and the kind of finishing that justifies the brand's existence: a hand-engraved balance cock with the infinity symbol, a frosted bridge with hand-guilloché finishing, hand-polished bevels and countersinks, heat-blued screws, and snailed wheels. Everything in the movement is hand-decorated by Stefan or his small team.

Condition: Very good. Some marks on the case flanks.

Includes: Full set.
