The Watch: The Ming 17.03 builds on the success of the brand’s debut 17.01, adding a GMT complication while retaining the sculptural case design and dial depth that made Ming an instant favorite among modern independents. This was also the first Ming model offered with a standard bracelet, making it a notable milestone in the brand’s early history.
This example features a titanium case and matching titanium bracelet, keeping the 38mm watch light and exceptionally comfortable on the wrist. The dial is a deep metallic blue with Ming’s signature gradient effect, fading to black at the edges. Skeletonized hands and luminous ring markers give the watch a futuristic yet understated presence. The GMT function is subtly integrated with a second time zone hand, making it practical for travel without overwhelming the clean dial layout.
Inside is the self-winding Sellita SW330-1 movement, modified for Ming’s specifications. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the 17.03 offers durability alongside its modernist design.
Condition: Excellent condition with light wear to the case and bracelet. The dial is clean, and the bracelet fits up to approximately an 8" wrist.
