The Watch: The Globemaster carries more history in its name than most modern releases. Globemaster was what Omega called the Constellation in the American market during the 1950s, back when trademark issues kept the original name off US dials. When Omega revived the name in 2015, they gave it a job to match: the Globemaster was the world's first Master Chronometer, the first watch certified under the METAS testing regime that checks the complete watch, not just the movement, for precision and resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss.

The design pulls directly from the 1952 original. The sun-brushed blue dial has the faceted "pie pan" shape of the first Constellations, with twelve angled outer segments falling away from the flat center. The fluted bezel is 18k Sedna gold, Omega's rose gold alloy, and the same gold appears in the applied Constellation star, the hands, and the markers. The caseback carries the Constellation's observatory medallion, the emblem the line has worn since the 1950s.

The case is 39mm in stainless steel on a three-row steel and Sedna gold bracelet. Inside is the caliber 8900, with a co-axial escapement, silicon balance spring, twin barrels for a 60 hour reserve, and a time zone function that lets the hour hand jump independently. A date sits at 6 o'clock.

This example comes as a full set in excellent condition, with light marks on the bracelet.

Condition: Excellent. Light marks on the bracelet.
