The Watch: The 3572.50 is a fan favorite for a reason. It’s the only standard-production Speedmaster Professional that pairs a Hesalite crystal with a sapphire caseback—giving you the warm, distortion-prone charm of the original Moonwatch up front, and a full view of the movement in back.
The 42mm case is classic Speedmaster: twisted lugs, brushed sides, polished accents, and a black aluminum tachymeter bezel. The matte black dial keeps things clean and legible, with tritium or early Super-LumiNova markers depending on production year. Inside is the Omega Caliber 1863, a manual-wind chronograph derived from the Lemania 1873, but finished with rhodium plating and visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback.
Produced from the late ’90s into the early 2000s, the 3572.50 captures the soul of the Moonwatch while offering just a little more visual payoff.
