The Watch:A fascinating blend of Omega moonwatch heritage and high horology. This is an Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow Rattrapante. The 44mm, panda-esque dial is packed with information but always readable. On the reverse is a window into what looks like a small city: the double column wheel Split Second coaxial chronometer caliber, known as the Frederic Piguet 1286, highly modified to become the Omega 3612. This movement is recognized for its robustness and precision, with two column wheels enhancing the crispness of the chronograph action. Water-resistant up to 100 meters, this timepiece is suitable for swimming, which is twice the rating of a standard Moon watch. The movement also includes an automatic winding mechanism with a substantial 52-hour power reserve.
