The Watch: Roger Dubuis built his reputation at Patek Philippe, where he spent fourteen years working on complicated watches before founding his own manufacture in 1995. The brand he created became known for two things: extravagant case designs and a stubborn commitment to finishing every single movement to Poincon de Geneve standards. Roger Dubuis remains one of the only manufactures in the world to certify its entire production with the Geneva Seal, a designation that governs not just decoration but assembly, casing, and timekeeping.

Part of the Monégasque collection introduced in the early 2010s, this model reflects Roger Dubuis’ signature aesthetic — architectural dials, dynamic case shapes, and Geneva Seal-certified finishing. This is the closest living relative to the beloved Sympathie cases of the 90's and 2000's.

This reference houses the caliber RD680, an automatic chronograph wound by a micro-rotor. Micro-rotor chronographs are genuinely rare in watchmaking because the architecture is difficult to execute, and here it allows a full view of the column wheel and chronograph works through the sapphire caseback, all finished to Geneva Seal requirements. The case is 18k rose gold at 44mm, paired with a white dial and applied Arabic numerals.

This example comes on its original strap with the original buckle.

Condition: Excellent condition with light signs of wear.
