The 126600 is the modern Sea-Dweller. Released in 2017 for the model’s 50th anniversary, and the first in the line to feature a 43mm case and a cyclops magnifier over the date. The red “Sea-Dweller” text is a nod to the original 1967 version, but everything else is updated: ceramic bezel, improved lume, and Rolex’s latest generation movement inside.
The case is rated to 1,220 meters of water resistance and features a helium escape valve at 9 o’clock. The black dial is high-contrast and legible, with white gold hour markers and Chromalight lume. Inside is the Rolex Caliber 3235, boasting a 70-hour power reserve, improved precision, and long-term durability thanks to the Chronergy escapement.
Fitted on an Oyster bracelet with Glidelock and Fliplock extension systems, the Sea-Dweller 126600 wears like a Submariner turned up to eleven. Heavier, more capable, and built to go deeper than most of its owners ever will.
