The Watch: Launched in 1992 as Rolex's upmarket edit of the Submariner, the Yachtmaster at first sailed along as the more luxurious version of Rolex's most famous watch, letting the brand play with materials and colors in a way they never do on the Sub. Since 2011, when Rolex updated the Submariner to its new "maxi-case," with slab sides and thicker lugs, the Yachtmaster has become the more sinuous model. This is a circa 2019 rose gold/stainless steel model with a black dial.
