The Watch: The Vacheron Constantin Overseas 49150 is the second generation of the brand’s flagship sports chronograph, produced from 2004 until around 2016. This 42mm stainless steel chronograph builds upon the DNA of the original Overseas line, bringing a bigger case profile, the beginning of the Maltese cross bracelet, and an upgraded movement architecture.
The white dial features guilloché, applied indices, sword-style hands, and three recessed subdials: running seconds at 6, chronograph hours at 9, and chronograph minutes at 3, along with a big date crowning the dial at 12.
Inside is the Vacheron Caliber 1137, a column-wheel automatic chronograph based on the legendary Frederic Piguet 1185 and enhanced by Vacheron with a big date function. With its slim construction and high horology finishing, the 1137 is considered one of the finest automatic chronograph movements of its time.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition with light surface wear. Dial and crystal are clean. Bracelet fits up to a 7.5" wrist.
