Vacheron Phidias 48010 (Late 80's/Early 90's)
Vacheron Phidias 48010 (Late 80's/Early 90's)
The Watch: Here’s a little bit of Vacheron history, the VC Phidias, ref 48010. This is something of a transitional line between the 222, its successor the 333, and Vacheron’s current integrated sports watch, the Overseas. In the late 80’s until the Overseas’ introduction in 1996, the Phidias was a slightly more demure (33mm) and elegant watch. It’s ridiculously thin, about 7mm, and in fantastic condition. Beyond that, it’s rare to find these in a black dial, they’re almost always white or, slightly less commonly, champagne. As far as I know, this is the only one on the market. If you’re looking for a metal watch you can wear with a suit that nobody else will be wearing, this is the one.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. Some small marks on the bracelet. See photos.
Includes: Watch and Vacheron box.
